What is the difference between a 4- and 5-persons house?
In the 5-persons house, the second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed instead of 2 single beds. There are also extra chairs, cutlery, crockery, etc.
Is Casas Fruta located in a quiet area?
It is wonderfully quiet here, Casas Fruta is located just outside a small village, in a quiet area. But certainly not in the "middle of nowhere"! For example, it is a few minutes' drive to the main road, and 10 minutes to the beach.
Is there an air conditioner in the house?
No, and you don't need it. In the summer it rarely gets warmer than 16-17 degrees at night, and the bedrooms are on the shady side of the house.
Can we bring our dog or cat?
Sorry, pets are not allowed.
Can we also accommodate 6 people in the 5-person house?
(Or with 5 people in a 4-person house?)
No, exceeding the maximum number of persons per house is not allowed.
Can I take an option?
For stays outside the high season and school holidays we can sometimes offer a short option period. Unfortunately not for the busy periods.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
You are welcome on the day of arrival between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. If you have an early flight, we'll be happy to give you tips on what to do until it's time to check in. On the day of departure, check out time is no later than 10:00 AM.
Is bed linen provided?
Yes, the beds are made for you and the bed linen is changed weekly. There are also bath towels and kitchen towels. Beach towels are not standard, you can rent them from us.
How many houses are there?
Casas Fruta consists of 4 identical houses. The houses Maçã, Amêndoa and Nêspera can accommodate up to 4 people. Casa Pêra is suitable for a maximum of 5 people.
